Uh oh, looks like ol' Billy-Bob forgot to take his meds again. Now he wants to take his frustrations with the world out on these hapless bike riders.

Now, seeing packs of bikers wearing tight spandex on the road can be pretty frustrating. But what we have here is the biggest over reaction you'll see today. Or not. Regardless, if you're looking for a refresher on Southern hospitality, go ahead and click. This here's a real hoot!

It's really hard to tell what exactly happened there. It's obvious a lot had happened before the recording and that the cyclist doing the video was trying to bait him into saying what he wanted. It's also pretty obvious that they were trying to play a lot more of a victim than they actually were... as they attacked the truck and stuck a bike in front of it. Looks like a case of road rage from a bunch of idiots.

There may not be an actual, "within the letter of the law" reason, but man do I get tired of these Lance Armstrong wanna-be's. I live on the coast so come, well, pretty much all year round because we have great weather, but generally spring/summer because that's vacation time... come vacation time these douche rockets are out blocking the road... *constantly*.

Yeah, I'm a grown, college educated adult, I understand that they have a legal right to use the road with me. Great. But look "Lance", I'm not ON vacation, I'm going to work, so if it wouldn't kill you to just move over a little so I could pass you that'd be greaaaaaat. I know moving over makes you feel like you're "losing" to the "cagers" and well, if you're going to move over, why even bother with the cool neon colored spandex? I dunno. That's a question you'll have to answer for yourself.

But, at least where I'm from, there's one or two every month that get hit "sharing the road" at dusk/dawn and exercising their God given right not to move over and sport awesome neon spandex. The problem is, that cool swept back, super aerodynamic helmet didn't protect shit when an actual 4000 lb car impacted them at 40 or 50 mph from behind. Now, so much for vacation (...or ever walking again...).

Personally, I refuse to be baited into these types of situations. In my younger days, things were different. I was a hot-headed ass. And, when I'm as old as father time up there and have nothing to lose anymore, I'll probably be batshit crazy again. But, for now, I just wait while crawling agonizingly slow in the lane behind them, fantasizing about mind-numbingly horrible fates that I'd like to see fall upon these self-righteous pricks (...like, say, a Suburban...). Then, I eventually pass them, make it to my office, then Google demographics to find the places where these bikers actually live the rest of the year. So I can go there on vacation, and annoy the sh*t out of them. lol

Then why say cyclists are "blocking" the road? Simply because they can move over does not mean that it is safer or necessary to do so.

I drive a narrow car and a motorcycle - does that mean I'm "blocking" the road for wider or faster drivers?

I understand that cyclists holding up traffic is inconvenient and often rude, but there are legitimate reasons for taking the lane - typically safety, as passing in the lane or riding on the shoulder can be dangerous.

I'm going to go ahead and assume you live in the Bay Area ;) I've been stuck behind packs of them up the PCH to Bodega Bay before. Not fun. It was hilarious once though because I was wearing my hi-viz motorcycle jacket, and they all thought I was a Marshall until I passed them on a straight doing well above the posted speed limit.
